The Zero Footprint project came about when we complete the building our low carbon house in the Galloway hills. Having spent two years designing and building a house with as low a carbon impact as possible we naturally progressed onto the idea of attempting to create a portfolio of photographic images with a similarly low footprint. This evolved into a literal interpretation of the term - hence Zero Footprint - where all the images had to be captured from precisely the same location, outside the french doors at our studio. <p>The Clubs four Fellows of the Royal Photographic Society will be exhibiting the panels of work that achieved them their prestigious awards. An opportunity will also be provided for those entering the Annual Exhibiton to frame their prints.</p>

You have experienced more advanced work over the last few weeks now for those who wish to start to experiment John Pearson will help you with the use of tools and layers at a basic level.

Edmund has brought forward his talk to the 18th nov and will be talking about the new rules for entering nature into competitions. He will demonstrate what can be done and lead a discussion on the wild life and nature differences.

John and Margaret will talk about getting away from Auto settings on your camera and create effects such as motion blur, differential focus, freeze your subject or to make that water look as if it is running.

Bring your prints along and we will have some of our members ready to discuss them and give you constructive criticism.

Tonight we have an informal evening of the '4 corners'. We may not actually be in 4 corners and we have actually got 5 set-ups that members can visit (we can't flippin count!). At the beginning of the night we would like the membership to split into 4 or 5 groups and then move round from each activity to the other. This isn't essential and if there is a corner that you are already an 'expert' in then you can easily miss that one out.
